About the Gedeo language

Gedeo, also known as Geddeo, is a language of Ethiopia with over 1,000,000 users in the
Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ and Oromia regions: central highland area, southwest of Dilla and east of Lake Abaya.

It has no known dialect but has a lexical similarity with Sidamo, Alaba-kabeena, Kambaata and Hadiyya.
